Christmas!
This year was a good one--we felt like it went really fast, since we spent the first week and a half of December in a tropical place, but the holidays were nice.
We had our traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner with some friends from church.
On Christmas, we opened presents and then had Christmas dinner over at the house of some friends we think of as our Japan Family. We had a really nice time.
A few of our favorite things...
These are "mikan," a citrus fruit that is related to mandarin oranges--they are little like clementines, seedless, really easy to peel (yay, our kids can do it themselves!), and really juicy. They are sold all over this time of year.
We got a game that came from the 100Y store from some friends--it consisted of a pantyhose with holes on each end, and you are supposed to put it over your head and try to pull it off of another person's head. The hilarity follows...
