Catch-up time #3!

Here are some photos of some more cool stuff we saw and did in June:


We demonstrated how to wash at a Shinto shrine.

We went to Harajuku.

We saw an actual wedding going on at Meiji Shrine in Tokyo!

We went to the Imperial Palace.

We went to Ginza.

We went to Asakusa in Tokyo.

We saw Geisha in Kyoto.

And girls dressed as Samuri.

Back in Tokyo, we saw the Temple.

On our way back up North, we stopped at Matsushima Bay (one of our favorite places). We went to a very old shrine...

and a cool series of Shinto shrines in caves...

and saw some neat woods...

and bought some surprisingly good grilled squid from a really nice lady.

Back up in Aomori we visited Big Buddha (the Showa Daibutsu).
